About Jeff Hagen
I grew up and was educated in Minnesota, taught in Madison,
Wisconsin (k-college) moved to Indiana 4 years ago.
My
creative work has received featured attention from: The New
York Times, Chicago Tribune, Milwaukee Journal, Baltimore
Sun, Minneapolis Star/Tribune, Publishers Weekly, Outside
Magazine and other national media.
My
work has appeared on ABC TV's "Good morning America", The
Food Channel, and various N.P.R. stations in America and in
The Peoples Republic of China.
My
paintings were selected for inclusion in: Watercolor U.S.A.,
the National Watercolor Traveling Exhibit, the Utah
nationals, the California nationals, Watercolor Wisconsin,
and various regional and national juried shows.
I
was selected to become a signature member of the National
Watercolor Society and have been a member for over 35 years.
I have written and illustrated 8 books to date.
I
taught art for 32 years (kindergarten through college) and
have visited over 100 schools (in the u.s. and abroad) as an
artist in residence and guest author.
I
served as an senior architectural guide for the Frank
Lloyd Wright foundation at Taliesin in Spring Green,
Wisconsin (and at several other of wrights designs in
Wisconsin and Indiana).
My
artwork is in both private and public collection in the U.S.
and Europe. one of my drawings was in the collection of the
U.S. Embassy in Oslo, Norway. |
